Rockstar Games have released new screens of the PC version of Max Payne 3 along with the game’s system specifications.
Developed in parallel with the game’s console versions, Max Payne 3 for PC supports DirectX11 including tessellation, as well as a number of additional advanced graphics options and is optimized to run across a wide range of PC setups.

The level of detail in these new screenshots are quite something and judging by the fact that the game needs 35 GB of HDD space and the Xbox version requires two discs, we should have a very detailed and lengthy adventure on our hands, come next month!
The official TV Spot of Max Payne 3 has been released. The song used for the trailer is called “TEARS” by HEALTH and is just one of the tracks featured on the original soundtrack.
The Rockstar Newswire has revealed that it will be teaming up with Marvel (Custom Solutions) for a 3 part Max Payne 3 comic series.
The original Max Payne 3 comic series will delve into Max’s troubled past – exploring the events that occurred in and around both Max Payne and Max Payne 2, leading up to Max Payne 3 while also shedding new light on Max’s early years.
There are two aspects of this announcement which should excite fans of the series.
Firstly this original comic series will be co-written by Rockstar Games’ own, Dan Houser. Secondly issue #1, entitled “After the Fall”, will be free via the Rockstar Newswire upon release, in several weeks time!
As promised, Rockstar have released the latest video in its Design and Technology series, Bullet Time. To say the game is coming along nicely is a huge understatement.

The latest video in the Max Payne 3 Design and Technology series will be making its debut tomorrow at 12 noon, eastern time (which is 2am or 4am, here in Australia and New Zealand respectively). It is entitled: Bullet Time.

The Rockstar newswire was updated earlier with new screens and renders of Max sporting various shotguns.
The force of a shotgun is undeniable at close range and Max Payne 3 will include devastating combinations of the weapon, ranging from the semi-automatic two-handed Super Sport with its gas-reloading mechanism, to the dual-wield-able Sawn-Off which can double the damage.

Recently, youngmaylay, the voice of GTA San Andreas’ confirmed that he will not be a part of Grand Theft Auto V. After months of rumours, commencing even before GTA V’s first trailer, the man himself confirmed his absence via twitter.
